
The SHIFT-MED Erasmus+ CBHE project, coordinated by the University of Kairouan, officially kicked off in Naples with the participation of partners from Europe, Tunisia, Palestine, and Türkiye. The meeting marked the beginning of a shared commitment to advancing the green and digital transition in higher education across the Mediterranean.
Two Days of Productive Work
Day 1 focused on strategic alignment and project foundations:
Project vision, objectives, and structure
Partner presentations and institutional perspectives
Work Packages, roadmap, and governance (WP1)
Quality assurance, risk management & dissemination
Day 2 emphasized operational planning and implementation:
WP2 – Enhancing Institutional Capacity for Green Governance
Financial management & Erasmus+ reporting
Upcoming activities, milestones & coordination
Evaluation, conclusions & next steps
The meeting concluded with shared reflections, certificates of participation , and a cultural visit —strengthening collaboration and partnership across the consortium.
SHIFT-MED now moves forward with clarity, commitment, and a shared vision for sustainable and digitally empowered universities.
